It was a real shock this week to hear the Region had lost a true archery powerhouse with the sad passing of Dave Harrison.
Archery thrives through those who give back to the sport and few have given more than Dave. His incredible archery legacy is at every level – National, Regional, County and local – and the sport has lost a true champion. All his contributions shared and achievements gained while consistently being known as a really good man.
The NCAS Committee pass on their thoughts and best wishes to Dave’s family and friends. Rest easy Dave, you will be greatly missed.
Thirsk Bowmen are running a clout workshop on Sunday 31 October between 10-1, lead by Yorkshire’s own Mark Hayes. No charge for the workshop, but a donations bucket will be available on the day for the club’s charity. All ages and abilities welcome. Please reach out to Allan Shuker at Thirsk Bowmen if you’re interested.
